In this fourth video of the series on Minor Piece Play, IM Alex Astaneh is continuing to discuss scenarios with same colored bishops on the board. You will learn general rules on how to identify the superior bishop and how to play for a win. You will also learn that the pawn structure plays a crucial role in the judgement when determine the superior bishop. Based on a very instructive master game played between Lev Polugaevsky and Yuri Balashov several aspects of the play with same colored bishops will be handled in detail.
