The Italian Game is one of the oldest openings in all of chess. It can lead into many openings including the Evan's Gambit, Two Knights Defense, Fried Liver Attack, Giuoco Piano, and more. The Italian Game is good for all styles of play, and has been used by some of the world's best for centuries. If a chess player loves attacking chess, the Fried Liver Attack might be the best option. However in this video, we go over the more positional approach to the Two Knights Defense, in which white uses basic chess strategy, chess principles, and chess moves.
