Chess Openings: Learn to Play the Center Fork Trick Against the Italian Game!

We have all heard of the Italian Game and/or Giuoco Piano. The Italian Game is one of the oldest chess openings ever played, and it has a strong history of showing good chess strategy, chess principles, chess moves, chess ideas, and chess traps. This chess opening for white starts of with the following moves:

1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 Nc6
3. Bc4

Here white looks to naturally develop their pieces and put some pressure on the f7 pawn. There are a few options for black which go into variations like the Giuoco Piano, Blackburne Shilling Gambit, Rousseau Gambit, Anti-Fried Liver Defense, etc. However, in today's video, I recommend the move 4. ...Nf6, which is the second most popular option at the master and grandmaster level. From here, white has the option of going into the Fried Liver Attack, but we will look to play either the main line, or the "Fried Liver Attack" against the Fried Liver Attack with the Traxler Counter-Attack. The Traxler Counter-Attack is a dangerous chess opening with tricks and traps that can help you win games fast. We will leave a link to our chess opening video on the Traxler Countergambit below. However, in today's video we cover what happens if white, instead of going with the Fried Liver Attack, simply defends the pawn with Nc3. This looks like a good move from white, but it turns out that black is simply better because of the Center Fork Trick. At move 5 in the game, black will already enjoy the advantage in either material and/or development. This is a good chess opening trap for beginner chess players and intermediate chess players as well, since the Italian Game is one of the most popular chess openings in the world today. The Centre Fork Trick goes against the Italian Game and looks to use chess opening strategy, chess opening theory, and chess opening principles to pull out with a middlegame advantage. The move e5 for black is a top tier chess opening for black, and the Center Fork Trick holds a piece of the puzzle in this. Want to beat the Italian Game? Want to be prepared for the Fried Liver Attack with the Traxler Counter-Attack? Want to use chess opening tricks and traps to win games fast? Want to improve at chess quickly and win more games against higher rated players? If yes, the Center Fork Trick might be for you! We hope you enjoy this video on how to beat the Italian Game!
