Chess Openings: Learn to Play the Vienna Gambit!

There are many good chess gambits for white against e5 which include the King's Gambit, Danish Gambit, Scotch Gambit, and Evans Gambit. However, all of these ches openings are extremely popular and black is usually well prepared for any of these chess opening systems. What can we play at move 2 and 3 to surprise black and still maintain good chess opening theory and chess opening strategy? In today's video, we cover the Vienna Gambit which is a great chess opening for e4 players trying to find an attacking but sound response against e5. The Vienna Gambit starts off with the following moves:

1. e4 e5
2. Nc3 Nc6
3. f4

The Vienna Gambit goes against the Max Lange Defense in a variation that is similar to the King's Gambit, except better. The Vienna Gambit is more sound than the King's Gambit as we have better development of our pieces and our king is less exposed. The Vienna Gambit is a fun chess opening and dangerous chess opening for white. I specifically recommend the Vienna Gambit for beginner chess players and intermediate chess players as it has good chess opening moves, chess opening ideas, chess opening theory, chess opening principles, and chess opening strategy.
