The main topic of this video is to understand the basics of defending and counterattacking for given positions as well as to learn the most common methods of defense. You will learn what it means to simplify the position to defend against the opponent's threats. The idea behind simplification is to exchange or trade the opponent’s main attacking resources so that he has less chances to convert his advantage. Simplification is the most common method of defense.
