In this video, IM Alex Astaneh will discuss another example on how to utilize the bishop pair advantage and how to restrict the mobility of the opponent’s pieces.

Summary:

- Bishops do like positions, where their pawns are on all areas of the board, while knights are powerful when the fight taking place only on one side of the board.

- One of the problems of having two knights in the endgame, that can arise even in the opening, is that the knights can step on each others toe, quite frequently.

- The bishops have an offensive strength which can even lead to a checkmate. Always look for mating opportunities.
