This series is dedicated to attacking techniques and ideas which will help you to start decisive attacks against your opponent’s king. GM Dejan Bojkov will cover different situations, which often appear in chess games, for example uncastled and castled king positions, opposite castled positions and many more. You will learn that every attacking piece counts and that the time is an important factor in every attack.
In the first video, GM Dejan Bojkov will teach you how to attack the uncastled king. If you want to create a central attack against the enemy king, there are three typical principles according to Paul Morphy: piece development, central control and controlling open files ( Whenever you open files, the big difference between the activity of your pieces and the activity of your opponent’s pieces is going to become more and more obvious).
Don’t forget to create a threat with every move that you make! Otherwise your opponent might find a way to defend the position, because he has plenty of time to bring his defending pieces.
