In this video, IM Alex Astaneh is going to be sharing with you a secret opening trick in the Tennison Gambit, which can arise out of the Scandinavian Defense or even the Zukertort opening. It begins as a gambit but it actually sets a very nasty trap for black. A gambit is basically a chess opening strategy in which a player sacrifices material, for example a pawn, in order to achieve an advantageous position or a development advantage. The Tennison Gambit is a popular response to the Scandinavian Defense and will for sure surprise your opponent.
