In this first video of the series about instructive master games, IM Alex Astaneh presents to you the master game Uhlmann against Portisch from 1968. In this game an interesting pawn structure arose from a King's Indian Defense (KID) where Uhlmann used the space advantage. Other positional chess themes like minor piece play, weaknesses as well as open and semi-open files are also covered in this instructive master game.
